CHICAGO, IL – Venture One Real Estate, LLC through its acquisition fund, VK Industrial II, LP, has closed on a 222,250 square foot vacant industrial building at 1817 Kenosha Road in Zion, Illinois.
The building is located at the corner of Kenosha Road and Route 173. It features 20-24’ clear height, high finish office, outside storage/trailer parking, an ESFR sprinkler system and 24 exterior docks. The site contains extra land that can be used for additional car/trailer parking or for building expansion.
Geoff Kasselman, Ryan Kehoe and Melissa Porcelli of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the seller in the transaction. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank has been retained by Venture One to continue marketing the facility.
Venture One’s VK Industrial funds have acquired over 4,400,000 square feet of industrial property in over 35 separate transactions in the Chicago market since opening in September of 2010.
