Venture One Fund Acquires 60,033 Sq. Foot Industrial Building in Chicago, Illinois

Rosemont, IL – July 27, 2021 – Venture One Real Estate through its acquisition fund, VK Industrial V, LP, a partnership between Venture One and Kovitz Investment Group, has closed on the acquisition of a 60,033 square-foot industrial building located at 6450 Cortland Street in Chicago, Illinois. The property was vacant at the time of acquisition.
The single-tenant building sits on 2.81-acres of land. The building features 7 docks, 1 drive-in door, and parking for 63 cars. Venture One’s planned improvements include, office renovations, new energy efficient lighting, parking lot resurfacing, and a new roof.

Elise Couston and Jimena Sayavedra of Newmark represented the Seller in the transaction and will be retained to market the property.
